Janet Sue Stone, 78, of Raytown Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 26th, 2019 in Savannah Missouri.
A graveside celebration of life for Janet is scheduled for 11:30 AM on Friday June 7th at Floral Hills funeral home.
Janet was born in Georgetown Illinois to Sam and Helen Grider on June 28th 1940.
She married Floyd Stone on November 5th, 1960.
She graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor in Liberal Arts. She retired from UMKC as an administrator in 2002.
Janet and Floyd where active members of the Ivanhoe church of Christ in Raytown, MO. They loved to travel to Arizona and took many cruises.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Helen Grider, brother Abe Grider, husband Floyd Stone, and granddaughter Taylor Beck.
Janet is survived by her three children Shelly Raines, Stacey Beck and Mark Stone, grandchildren Christa McMilian, Kelli Godwin, Travis Stone, Paige Beck, Tyler Stone, Alex Beck, Erika Stone and Conner Stone, great grandchildren Logan Beck, Mason Brown and Willow Mae Beck.
