Debra Gail Pruitt Rich, age 64 of Cherokee, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019. Debra was a retired Bus Driver for the Colbert County Schools and a member of Maud Church of Christ. Debra was known by Ninnee to many and loved by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Almond and Jennie Pruitt, and loving mother-in-law, Betty Ditto.
Debra is survived by her husband, Steve Rich; children, Tallie Johnson (Brad), of Cherokee, Al. , and Torie Burcham (Bryan), of Burnsville, MS. , brother, Dennis Pruitt (Lisa), of Tuscumbia; sister, Beverly Ashby(Ray), of Decatur; grandchildren, Will and Tanner Johnson, of Cherokee, and Anna Jane and Abbie Burcham, of Burnsville, MS.
Her visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee on Thursday, May 30 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Her funeral service is to follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Joey Barrier officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
