Services for Clayton H. Jones Jr., 46, of Murfreesboro, who died at Middle Tennessee Medical Center Friday, will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Marion West officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The son of Bessie Mae Bumbalough and the late Clayton H. Jones Sr., he is survived by his wife, Linda Ann Starnes Jones; two sons, Dallas Keith Jones and Chad William Jones of Murfreesboro; five daughters, Shellie Viola Jones and Shay Marie Jones of Murfreesboro, Janet Jones and Laura Jones of Sparta and Margie Jones of Nashville; his mother, Bessie Mae Bumbalough of Smyrna; three brothers, Arnold Lee Walker and Prentice Dee Walker of Murfreesboro and Floyd Taylor Jones of Virginia Beach, Va.; three sisters, Billie Jean Clouse of Sparta, Linda Sue Tallant of Smyrna and Judy Ann Jones of Murfreesboro; and two granddaughters.
A native of Sparta, he was a member of the Science Hill Church of Christ and a retired car salesman.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
