Ms. Adams was a retired Administrative Assistant from Durham County Public Schools.
Ms. Adams is survived by her sons, Thomas Clifton “TC” Adams Jr. (Susan), James “Jim” Lee Adams, Sr. (Lesa); daughter, Doris Ann Adams; sister, Emma Bass; grandchildren, Leslie Alston (Ed), Jeffrey Adams (Erin), Andy Adams (Paula), James Adams, Jr. (Alaina); great-grandchildren, Danni Manning (Phillip), Michael Adams, Anna Adams; great-great-grandson, JD Manning; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special 4 legged baby, Sadie.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 24th at Pleasant Green United Methodist Church with Rev. Laura Thompson. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow the services in the church cemetery.
