James Michael "Mike" Henderson was born 4/7/1959 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to Mary Frances Jones. He was named after his grandpa James Francis Jones. He went to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School & Tulsa public schools before moving to Minnesota when he was around 13. He graduated from Worthington Senior High School then joined his step-father working in the meat packing business. He worked for the same company until he was forced to retire due to disability. Then he was diagnosed with cancer months ago & died from the disease on 5/26/2019.
He loved drawing, rock & roll, scary movies, video games, martial arts & his dog Elvis. He also very much loved his kids & grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James & Mildred Jones; his mom: Mary Frances Jones Thompson; his uncles: Ronnie & Delbert Jones; & two grandsons. He is survived by 3 uncles: Floyd, Lloyd & Robert Jones; 3 aunts: Brenda, Jeanette & Patricia; his siblings: David, Dawn, Ronnie & Dayna; his children: Brandi & her husband Patrick, Amber & her husband Frank & Cody; & his grandchildren: Scarlet, Sebastian, Silas, Carlyn, Prudence, Paisley & a grandson on the way. He's also survived by cousins, nieces & nephews & friends.
Per his request there will be no funeral. He will be cremated & his ashes given to one of his children.
