Mildred Lucille Keel, also known as "Millie", "Mom", and "Nana" passed away at the age of 88 at her home in Tishomingo, OK on May 26, 2019. Mildred was born on July 31, 1930 in Bristow, OK to the parents of Homer and Naomia Gilreath. She spent the majority of her life calling Johnston County home and spent her career years being a beautician but more importantly taking care of her family and two daughters at home. She was the most giving, loving and selfless person and was always making sure everyone's needs were met before her own. Mildred loved cooking and every Sunday she would have the whole family plus some over for a good home cooked meal. She also loved garage sales either going to them or having them as they often turned in to social gatherings. Going to church and being involved was a big part of her life and those that knew her, knew the godly woman that she was. Mildred enjoyed all holidays and especially being festive and putting out all the seasonal decorations for them. Most importantly, she loved her family deeply and will be missed dearly but her memories they will cherish forever.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Naomi Gilreath; husband, J.B Keel; grandson, Paul Copeland.
Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Linda O'Dell Copeland and Brenda O'Dell Lilley; brother, Doyle Gilreath and wife Beth, grandchildren, Melissa Heffington and husband Seigel, Michelle Dahl and husband Jason; great-grandchildren, Brian Mincher, Isaac Green, Lindy Green, Brenna Green, Allison Mincher, Brooke Mincher; great-great-grandchildren, Bentley Green, Logan Dancer, Rylan Green, Camden Cloud and a host of friends who will greatly miss her.
