She was born in Wheeling on September 15, 1945, daughter of the late Carl and Eleanor Trouten Cox.
She was a Christian by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Carlson, Carson and Carlton Cox; one sister, Carlene Melton.
Carla is survived by her sister, Carlotta Crowder; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her beloved cat, Jingles.
Per her request there will be no visitation or service.
