Lillie Mae Young, age 80 of Booneville, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Booneville. She was born February 11, 1939 to Bedford Spencer and Nancy Thomas Spencer. She was member of Clausel Hill Independent Methodist Church. She was a hard worker and enjoyed her job, she worked for over 50 years. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening, flowers, and fishing. Her passion was baking cakes for the public. A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Redd officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery. She is survived by one son, Tommy Young (Cynthia) of Booneville; one daughter, Wanda Nichols (Ricky) of Booneville; two grandchildren, Ashley Nichols and Kelsey Tolar (Hunter); two great grandchildren, Adaleigh Tolar and Isaiah Tolar; two sisters, Lula Lambert and Catherine Jackson and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ervin Young; great grandson, Tyson Nichols; her parents, one brother, Chester Spencer and three sisters, Vester Fowler, Clester Jackson and Clarray Taylor.
