Animal Actor, Internet Folk Figure. Named Tardar Sauce by her owners, she eventually became known as "Grumpy Cat" from her facial appearance caused by feline dwarfism. She came to prominence in 2012 when a photograph of her was posted on a social media website by the brother of her owner. Grumpy Cat has made many media appearances, and has also been featured in advertising campaigns for Friskies and General Mills' Honey Nut Cheerios. She has been an internet sensation for memes and with more than one million followers on Twitter and two million on Instagram. She died from complications of a urinary tract infection at the home of her owner, Tabatha Bundesen who founded Grumpy Cat Limited.
