She is know best for being mother to six boys, whom she loved and cherished throughout her life. She enjoyed sewing clothing for her kids and grandkids, cooking, spending time with her loved ones and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Frederic Ellis and Gladys Marie Brown Ellis; stepmother, Ulma Ellis; brother, James Frederic "Freddy" Ellis' half-sister, Bobby Dean Hunt; and her husband, Lewis Voss.
Survivors: sons, Jimmy Dean Jones (Tammy), Jackie Ray Jones, John Robert "Bobby" Voss (Lisa), Charles "Barry" Voss (Lois "Sissy"), Jerry Voss (Shannon Lawson) and Gary Lynn Voss; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, John Charles Ellis (Diana) of McRae, AR; and half-sister, Charlotte "June" Hunt of Tampa, FL.
Her urn will be interred with Lewis at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock.
