Alice Emma Hohmann Bingham passed from this life on May 12, 2019. She was 86. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family. Alice was born on February 6th, 1933 in Fredericksburg, TX. She was one of eight children born to WB and Sophie Hohmann. She grew up in the beautiful hill country where she met and eventually married JW Bingham with whom she was days away from celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Together they made their home in Tyler, TX where they lived for 50 years and raised their four children. She was a devoted homemaker and also worked alongside JW, who was a carpenter. Alice was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and Grace Community Church in Tyler. Per her and JW's wishes, they will combine their ashes to be spread among the bluebonnets and along the Concho River.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Doris, William, James, Walmar, Wallace and Dayton. She is survived by her husband JW, her four children Celeste, Duane, Garrick, and Stephanie, several grandchildren, and her sister Erline Sager, all of whom will miss her very dearly. Her love for redbirds and raising chickens, her green thumb, her perfect chicken and dumplings recipe and her fiery disposition will live on with us. Last tag.
