Clena B. (Holcom) Green, 93, of Salina, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. She was born June 21, 1925.

Clena was a homemaker for many years before starting work at Planters Bank. She continued for over 30 years before retiring from Bank IV in 1994.

Survivors include: daughters, Dixie Hostetler (Dennis) of Wakefield, and Debbie Christie (Dwight) of Mentor; grandchildren, Joe Stroede (Joyce Jensen) of Wakefield, Lori Kurtz (Jeff) of Wichita, John Christie of Manhattan, and Brooke Christie of Salina; and great-grandchild, Chelsea Kurtz of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. “Johnny” Green.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 302 South 7th Street, Salina, KS 6740l.

Private interment will be at Gypsum Cemetery, Gypsum, following the reception at the Church after the services. There will be no visitation as cremation was chosen. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

Memorials may be made to: St. John’s Lutheran Church, or the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 8th Street, Salina, KS, 67401.
