Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, 88, of Shelby, MS, passed away on May 11, 2019, in Shelby. She was born on November 22, 1931, to Prentiss and Allie Barrentine in Duncan, MS. On November 27, 1949, she married LeRoy Johnson in Elaine, AR.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Prentice and Allie Barentine.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, LeRoy Johnson of Shelby; daughters, Susan Johnson and Carolyn Johnson, both of Shelby; son, Gregory Johnson of Southaven; grandchildren, Samantha Tharp of Indianola, Rachel Carver of Oxford, Barrett Johnson of Indianola, and Sarah Johnson of Greenwood; and great grandchildren, Rodgers Tharp, Riley Tharp, and Jacob Carver.
