Buna Thurmond Lacy age 77 of Rosalie died Sunday, May 12 at her residence. Funeral services are Wednesday at 1 pm ct at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Moses officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and 10 am until service time on Wednesday.
Survivors include daughter, Pam Justus(Tommy), son, Mike Lacy(Cindy), grandchildren, Lacy Justus, Haley Lacy, great-grandchildren, Reagan and Isayah Frasier, sister, Betty Guffey(Jimmy), brother, Claude Thurmond.
Mrs. Lacy was a 1961 graduate of Pisgah High School and a retired textile worker. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Nathaniel and Gladys Pearlie Garren Thurmond, husband, Jerry Troy Lacy, brother, Paul Thurmond.
