TRUMAN RUSSELL JR., 63, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Danny Stapleton. Burial will follow at Adkins Cemetery on Little Lynn Creek Road, East Lynn, W.Va. He was born January 2, 1953, on Little Lynn Creek Road in East Lynn, W.Va., a son of the late Truman and Gladys Davis Russell. Truman was formerly a construction worker and also worked for Addington Brothers Strip Mining. Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Janet Russell, Mary Justine Justice and husband Roy; brothers, Clifford, David and Danny Russell. Surviving to cherish his memory is his son, Billy Truman Russell and wife Christy of Wayne, W.Va.; sisters, Gladys Marie Ferguson and husband Ralph of New Boston, Mich., Betty June Russell of Lavalette, W.Va., Arlene Caldwell and husband Delbert of Fort Gay, W.Va., Judy Christian and husband Roger of Wayne, W.Va.; brothers, Jerry Lee Russell and wife Kathern of East Lynn, W.Va., Jimmy Dale Russell of East Lynn, W.Va., Jackie Allen Russell and companion Mary "Tiney" Fortner of East Lynn, W.Va.; along with many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the CVICU doctors and nurses at St. Mary's Medical Center for their excellent care during Truman's final days.
