Graveside services for Avva F. Buske Corder, 82, of Spur were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003 with Rev. Tommy Henderson officiating. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home. She passed away after a short illness.
Mrs. Corder was born May 17, 1920 to William and Nora Lillian McAda Buske in Avoca, Texas. She graduated from Avoca High School. Mrs. Corder married Billie Corder on January 5, 1942 in Stamford, Texas. She was a bookkeeper for Corder Drilling.
Mrs. Corder is preceded in death by her husband, Billie Corder, who passed away September 5, 2000.
She is survived by one son, Rickey Corder of Plainview; one daughter, Connie Rainbolt-Olivarez of Arlington; three brothers, Jack and Kathryn Buske of Stamford, Buddy and Ruth Buske of Kress and Billy Buske of Spur; two sisters, Vada Shackelford and Nita Donahoe of Spur; three grandchildren, Jason and wife, Dana, of Krum, Belinda RainboltBaker of Arlington, Becky Rainbolt-Torres and husband, Stevie, of Grand Prairie; and nine great grandchildren. Megan, Hunter and Madison of Krum; Devin, Ashton, Chandler and Brennan of Arlington; and Haven and Bryce of Grand Prairie.
