Joan E. Critzer, 66, passed on from this life unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 23, 2004. Born March 9, 1938, in Baltimore, Md., she was a longtime resident of Hampton. Mrs. Critzer enjoyed her job at Denbigh Chiropractic Clinic with Dr. Bill Seery and spent the majority of her days enjoying her family, horse and dog. Survivors include her three daughters, Debra C. Price and her husband, Don, of Hampton, Mindy A. Critzer and her companion, Tim Davenport, of Newport News, and Linda C. Young of Panama City, Fla.; three grandsons, Cameron Smith, Daniel Jones and Ryan Jones; and a great-grandson, Caleb Jones. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Thursday in R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. M. Darren Anderson officiating.
