November 24, 1927 - April 24, 2017 Hildred Brandenburg Hart, 89, of Berea, died Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Berea Health & Rehab Center. She was a Berea native born November 24, 1927, daughter of the late Harvey and Laura Ray Brandenburg, retired Henderson County School System English Teacher, and returned to Berea after her retirement in 1987. Hildred was a member of Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, American Association of University Women, and Berea Woman's Club. She was a faithful member of Berea Baptist Church and an avid U.K. Basketball fan.

Survivors include 1 son, Brian (Christine) Hart; 1 sister, Wilma (Ken) Lachmann; 1 granddaughter, Rhyannon Bowles; 1 great grandson, Christopher Guinn; her loving caregivers, David & Aurelia Brandenburg and Virginia Bratcher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and church family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 7 siblings, John, Ruth, Mildred, Lowell, Glendon, Edith King, Miriam Wann; and her former husband James Hart.

Funeral Service 11:00 am, Friday, April 28, 2017 at Berea Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Slemp officiating. Visitation 6:00 - 9:00 pm Thursday at Reppert Funeral Home.
