Iggie Bauman died peacefully in his sleep on Easter Sunday from a long illness due to strokes. He was always loving and supportive of his family and friends.
Iggie was born in Emmons County, N.D., the youngest of six children. He married Ida Bernhardt in 1951, and had four children, Leo, Betty (Tom) Scherrer, Audrey Hall and Tony.
Iggie is survived by his wife; children; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; four siblings; daughter-in-law, Theresa Bauman; and son-in-law, Bill Hall.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2019, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 11709 S.E. Fuller Rd., Milwaukie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ the King School Endowment Fund.
