Ernest Pink Rites Slated Tomorrow

A funeral service for Ernest E. Pink of 615 Beach Ave, retired assistant treasurer of General Railway Signal Co, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Corbebett's Funeral Home, 532 Lake Ave.

Mr. Pink, who would have been 78 next month, died of heart attack Monday (Jan. 4, 1954) in his home. With the firm 46 years, he retired seven years ago. He started as a bookkeeper and was advanced to auditor and then assistant treasurer.

Mr Pink, a native of Galt, Canada was brought to Rochester by his parents when he was 10 and attended public schools here and the Rochester Institute of Technology, formerly Mechanics Institute. He was a member of Rochester Lodge F&AM.

Besides his wife, Beatrice, Mr. Pink leaves three daughters, Mrs. J. W. Plouffe, Mrs. Cecil Houston and Mrs. H. S. Thomas, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park.
