Abbie L. Fort, 93, of 935 E. Jefferson St., died Saturday (Jan. 24, 1987) at the Apostolic Christian Restmor Inc., Morton.
She was born Oct. 16, 1893, in Tremont, a daughter of Adelbert and Ann Janette Russell Sperry. She married George M. Fort on Nov. 16, 1913, in Tremont. He died June 14, 1986.
Survivors include four daughters, Mildred Schafer, Dresser, Wis., Viola Dringenberg, Anaheim, Calif.; and Louise Wanner and Doris Bauman, both of Morton; four sons, Lloyd E. and Roy W., both of Morton; Ralph L. and Ray K., both of Pekin; one sister, Anna Dailey, Pekin; and one brother, Charley, Mackinaw.
Mrs. Fort was a housewife.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin.
