Marjorie Ruth McCloud, 76, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. She was born May 22, 1942 in Bear Branch, Indiana, daughter of the late Leroy and Ruth (Teke) Carpenter.
Marjorie was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Rising Sun, Indiana and Thatcher Retirees Club. She worked as a Supervisor at Anchor Glass.
She is survived by her son, Dean (wife Chris) McCloud of Dillsboro, IN; special friend / partner, Cliff Bushorn of Lawrenceburg, IN; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Howard of Madison, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Carpenter, mother, Ruth Carpenter, husband, Gordon McCloud, sister, Jean Reamer, brother, Don Carpenter.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11 am, with Pastor Teri Stackhouse officiating.
Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
