On Monday, April 29, 2019, a gentle, compassionate soul was lost.

Teresa Rae Morgan was born Nov. 22, 1963, to Orahlee (Tannahill) Morgan and Robert Morgan in Lewiston where she grew up. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1982, and went on to get her bachelor’s degree in early childhood development at the University of Idaho. Teresa put her degree to great use as a Birth-to-3 specialist for Asotin County Community Services, where she helped many children and touched many families’ lives for more than 20 years. While her job was her passion, Teresa’s family was most important. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, teacher and friend.

She is survived by her three children and grandson who she loved dearly, Ciera Carter and Elijah Nancarrow, Bryce Watkins and Crystal Watkins; her mother, Orahlee (Tannahill) Morgan; her father, Robert Morgan; her sister, Tracy Montgomery, and family; as well as her extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, William J. Morgan, and extended family.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 1104 Warner Ave., Lewiston. All who knew her are welcome to come share stories.
