Esther M. Bergant
Mrs. Ester M. Bergant, age 72, wife of John Bergant, for formerly of West Mineral, died at 808pm Tuesday, Aug 14, 1900 in Regional Medical Center Madisonville, KY. She had been in ill health 18 months.
Born Sept 6, 1917 at Bartlesville, OK. She was the daughter of James C. and Sherman M. Kaisin Thompson. She had lived in Madisonville the past 40 years, moving there from West Mineral.
Surviving are the husband, John Bergant; two sons, Johnnie W. Bergant and Jim Bergant both of Louisville, KY. Two brothers, James C. Thompson II, Overland Park, KS and Earl Thompson, Shawnee Mission KS and five grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be 100 pm Sunday in Star Cemetery West of West Mineral. The Rev. Delbert Chance will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the Bath- Naylor Funeral Home in Weir Saturday night from 600 to 900 pm. Those attending the funeral are to meet at the cemetery Sunday. There will be not procession from the funeral home.
