Mrs. Charles Foote died at her residence at No. 44 Townsend street at 11 o’clock last night after a brief illness. Mrs. Foote was the widow of Prof. Charles Foote, who previous to his death some ten or twelve years ago, was well-known as a teacher in this city. Mrs. Foote and himself taught in the High School. Mrs. Foote was a linguist of unusual accomplishments and a woman of the most lovely character. Her private school has had the patronage of the best families in Syracuse. The deceased leaves three daughters and one son.
