Margie Sue Ragsdale Endsley, age 81 of Pleasant Shade, TN, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 26, 2019. Mrs. Endsley was born September 4, 1937, in Hurricane Mills, TN. She was a very devout Christian. She enjoyed studying the Bible, song writing, and researching her family’s genealogy.
Mrs. Endsley was the daughter of the late John C. Ragsdale and Mattie Grace Harris Ragsdale.
She is survived by devoted husband of 56 years, James C. Endsley, and four children: Angela (Wilburt) Gooch of Lebanon; Jimmy (Dulcey) Endsley of Carthage; Karen (Kevin) Howell of Pleasant Shade; and Carl Endsley of Gordonsville. Also survived by grandchildren Tyler Daugherty; Jamilyn Cason of Lebanon; Megan (Michael) Massey of Elmwood; Amelia Seay of Pleasant Shade; Crystal and Brittany Howell of Smithville; Tyler (Melissa) Howell of Lebanon; Casie Skulley of Celina; Ethan (Emily) Endsley of Hartsville; and Crissy (Steven) Felice of Gordonsville.
She was a very proud Nanny of 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home on Monday, April 29, 2019, from 4-8 P.M., and Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M., with service to follow at 1 P.M. Interment will be at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pastor David Haun officiating.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Howell, Wilburt Gooch, Ethan Endsley, Steven Felice, Michael Massey, and Tyler Daugherty.
