JOHN LOBB
BRISBIN — John "Dudley" Lobb, 76. of Brisbin, died at 6:20 p. m. Saturday in the Philipsburg State General Hospital following an extended illness.
He was a retired mine foreman, a son of John and Sarah (Ennon) Lobb, and was born at Broadtop May 7, 1889. He was a member of the Brisbin Baptist Church and the United Mine Workers of America.
Mr. Lobb is survived by his wife, the former Mae Mostyn, and four children: Harold R. and Mrs. Cathryn Cotter, Brisbin; Mrs. Hazel Barrelle and Maynard, Jamestown, N. J.
Ten grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Lester Lobb, Detroit, Mich.; Miss Marie Lobb, Hollidaysburg; Mrs. Jeanette Thomas and Mrs. Rachel Fisher, Brisbin; and Mrs. Helen Hoff, Allentown. A number of nephews and nieces also survive. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends will be received in the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home until 11 a. m. Wednesday when the body will be taken to the Brisbin Baptist Church for services at 2 p. m. The Revs. H. C. Kulp and Paul Bell will officiate. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Brisbin.
