A native of Cove, Ark., Mr. Small lived in the Cincinnatus area for 70 years.
He retired in 1973 from Gladding Corp. in South Otselic and also was employed more than 30 years with Borden Milk Co. in Cincinnatus.
He was a member of the Cincinnatus Presbyterian Church, Borden's 25-Year Club and the Cincinnatus Fish and Game Club.
Surviving are his wife, the former Martha Maricle; a daughter, Janice Sandy of Concord, Calif.; two sisters, Juanita Johnson of Pharsalia and Cleo Donner of Gait, Calif.; four grandchildren, a great- grandson, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service were at the Black Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, the Rev. Alyssa Menshouse officiating. Contributions may be made to the Cincinnatus Emergency Squad.
