Obituary: Lynda Lee Conaway Kirk, age 82, of Parkersburg, WV passed away April 24, 2019 after a short illness at Pine View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Harrisville, WV. She was born June 02, 1936 in Ritchie County, WV the daughter of the late A. Herman and Wilma Mae Martin Conaway. Lynda was a bank teller for the former Parkersburg National Bank and a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital before becoming a licensed nursing home administrator. She owned and operated Pine View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisville, and Moundview Health Care in Moundsville. She was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Parkersburg, a former president for WV Healthcare Association, member of WV Nursing Home Administration Board, Parkersburg Woman’s Club and former Boy Scout Leader for Troop 6. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Linda Sue Kirk of Harrisville, WV; grandchildren, Amanda Lynch (Jared) of Harrisville and Jerad Kirk of Parkersburg; great grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, McKaylee and Emmalee Lynch; brother Larry Conaway (Jennifer) of Parkersburg; nephew, Dave Conaway of Las Vegas; niece, Melaney Parrish of Vienna, WV; friend, Naomi Vincent; beloved pet, Nikki; and ex-husband, William Kirk of Belpre, OH. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Eugene Cox; and three children, Jeffrey Lynn Kirk, Cyndi Sue Kirk and Michelle Cox. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at McCullough Raiguel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrisville with Dr. James LeVos officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisville IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM until time of service.
