Joaquin Taijeron Garrido, 83, of Radcliff, KY, died Monday, April 22, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospita. Petty Officer 3rd class Garrido Retired from the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Remedios Garrido; a son, Glenn Garrido; seven brothers and sisters and his parents, Juan and Ana Taijeron Garrido. He is survived by his three children, four grandchildren, and five great grandsons. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church, in Elizabethtown, KY. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery on Fort Knox with military honors.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
