Wilford Harry "Wil" Roberts
1937 - 2019
Wilford "Wil" was born January 3, 1937, to Louis Dermont and Winifred Louise Dean Roberts. He was raised in Vernal, Utah, the ninth of twelve children - six girls and six boys. Wil served a 2½-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the North Mexican Mission. While in Mexico, he worked in eight mission branches extending from Tampico on the eastern coast to Hermosillo in the northwest and was branch president in Parral and Santa Barbara. On January 28, 1965, Wil married Katherine Luana "Kathy" Gunn in the Salt Lake Temple. He taught of hard work and enjoyment of the world's beauties. Wilford Harry Roberts returned home April 22, 2019, at age 82.
Survived By: His wife, Kathy; daughter, Laurel (Greg) Carroll, of Myersville, MD; son, Jonathan (Desree), of Chandler, AZ; and grandchildren: Rebecca Carroll, Candy, Lily, Jeremy, Steven Dean and Julie Roberts.
Preceded In Death By: His son, Richard; his parents and eight siblings.
