Mrs. Lowe, age 100 of Lebanon passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, at McKendree Manor in Hermitage.
Born December 8, 1918, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Zebadee and Annie Johnson Manning Sr.
She was a WAVE in the United States Navy Medical Corp during World War II. She was a registered nurse and a member of First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles T. Lowe; daughter, Sherry Hankins; sisters, Doris Manning and Kathryn Proctor; and brothers, Dee Manning Jr., Ezra Manning, and J. D. Manning.
She is survived by: sister, Sue Jennings; step children: Tommy Lowe and Betsy Meador; sister in law, Mildred Manning; several step grandchildren & step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude or to your favorite charity.
