Francis Loren Jensen was born August 19, 1884 in Castle Dale to James Christian Jensen and Elizabeth Collard.

He married Laretta Collard on June 22, 1909 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple on September 14, 1910. She preceded him in death on October 15, 1928. They had six children. He married Ingeborg "Bobbie" Madsen on September 4, 1929 in Price. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on June 4, 1987. They had three children.

Loren worked as a cook. He and his wife, Bobbie, ran the Fountain Green Cafe and worked together at Jericho and the Moroni Turkey Processing Plant.

Loren was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Loren passed away of natural causes on Thursday, July 4, 1968 in a Nephi hospital.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 8, 1968 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fountain Green Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A viewing was held on Sunday, July 7, 1968 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at Ursenbach Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
Loren was laid to rest following the conclusion of the funeral services in the Fountain Green City Cemetery.
