PRESLEY, John A. - Jan. 30, 1928 - Feb. 8, 2018 Died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Left to mourn is his loving wife of 71 years, Vera (nee Jackson)

and children Jackie (late Delbert), Shelagh (Andrew), Pauline (late Bryan), Brenda (Kym), Merle (Randy), Allen (Mary), Harold (Bev), Jenny (Brian) and Johnny (Blair).

Predeceased by his sons Randy (1979) and Elvis (2011) and daughter Susan (2015).

He will be lovingly missed by his sister Grace Youmans and by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Hardworking hands are laid to rest. John always cared that his family was warm and cozy. He was a very creative man and spent his life designing and building homes for others. He had a busy mind and often found solutions to any obstacle while he slept. He had a great love for nature. He also loved all Buicks and lovingly cared for them as he did with his family. He will always be loved and missed. A Celebration of Life will be announced in the spring. In memory of John, donations to Emmanuel United Church in Odessa would be appreciated by the family.
