Diane Marie Coleman

1937-2019

Diane Marie Moss Coleman was born October 19, 1937, in Oklahoma City to Elmer Harlan and Rose Marie Moss. With only a few stops in Abilene and College Station, Texas, and Frederick, Maryland, all of her life was spent in Oklahoma City. She passed from this life on April 12, 2019, and is survived by her daughter, Christie Wood and husband Kevin of Edmond; her son, Eddie Coleman and wife Linda of Flower Mound, Texas; and her son, Dennis Coleman and wife Julie of Dallas, Texas; and her six beloved grandchildren, Brian Wood, Ciarra Wood, Emily Savage and husband Kyle, Rachel Coleman, Carter Coleman, and Lillie Coleman. She is also survived by her sister, Marilyn Noll and husband Don of Oklahoma City; and her sister, Beverly Gray and husband Tony of Norman; and her nephews, Robert Noll and wife Anna, and Jeff Waterman and wife Angie; and niece, Jennifer Snyder and husband Paul.

Diane was a homemaker for 24 years, and then finished her bachelor degree at Central State University. She joined the oil and gas industry at Panhandle Royalty Company in Oklahoma City here she worked as a bookkeeper for 21 years. Diane was a social person who loved to laugh and enjoy the company of her friends, family, and grandchildren. Her hobbies included bridge, sewing, crossword puzzles, and playing the piano. She was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ and enjoyed her Tuesday Ladies Class group.

The Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Mayfair Church of Christ, 2340 NW 50th St, Oklahoma City, 73112, with burial following at Rose Hill Burial Park.
