Kathy Sweet, age 71 years of West Union, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Kathy was born on Oct. 17, 1947 to the late Trever and Mary (Spohn) Bennington in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Survivors include her son Bryant Sweet of West Union, Ohio; one sister, Carlotta Yates and Rick of West Union; three brothers, Wilbur Bennington and Faye of Hillsboro, Ohio, James Bennington of Tennessee, and Earl Bennington and Pam of Manchester, Ohio; grandchildren, John O’Brien and Yezenia; great grandchild, Yezlyn O’Brien; niece and nephews, R.J. Yates and Dawn, Kevin Bennington, Kory Bennington, Chad Bennington, and Doug Bennington; and great nieces Cody Yates and Chelsey Yates.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union with Danny Welch officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. the day of the service.
