Age 75, of Jackson, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Dianne is survived by her four children, Bonita Cornwell, Tammy Cornwell (Roy Guajardo), James Cornwell Jr. and Melissa Cornwell (Denice Slabinski) all of Jackson; eight grandkids; twenty-one great-grandkids; two brothers, Walter and Michael Briggs of Pleasant Lake; one sister, Karen Klickner of Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Janet Briggs; daughter, Krista Cornwell and two sisters, Lena McCabe and Rose Miles. Dianne was a direct care healthcare worker, worked 17 years at Meijer and loved being a stay at home mom. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the store shopping and her television shows. Her favorite hobbies were arts and crafts and loved coloring with her great-grandkids. Dianne’s favorites times were those spent with family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate Dianne’s life will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home in Michigan Center on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:00 am with family greeting friends and family beginning at 10:00 am.
