HOPE - Charles L. (Duke) Boone, 70, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019. He was born November 24, 1948 in Bay City to the late John Travis and Julia (Henry) Boone. He was retired from Lavaca County after 37 years of service.

He was a member of Hope Baptist Church and loved his Hope Community.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Travis (Tutor) Boone and David Boone.

Visitation 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2019 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Service 10 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Pilot Grove Cemetery with Pastor Walker Williams officiating.
