Mr. Calvin Coolidge Gibson, age 92 of Chattanooga, Tennessee, formerly of Fort Payne passed away Monday, April,15 2019. He was born October 16, 1926 to the late Jacob Daniel & Pluma White Gibson. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Gibson was a member of Second Baptist Church and was a fixer at Bailey Knit Hosiery.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his children, Kay Harris and husband Bill, and Michael Gibson and wife Tina; grandchildren, Amber, Blake, and Kelsey and great grandchild, Everly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Blondell Patterson Gibson.
