JOHN E. KINNISON
(1887-1954)
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today for John E. Kinnison, 67, of Lucasville Rt. 3, who died at 2:22 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Hospital.
Mr. Kinnison had been in failing health for a year and had been a patient at the hospital five weeks.
He was born Aug. 16, 1887, a son of Jacob and Mary Rose Kinnison. He was married to Miss Goldie Dawson Nov. 29, 1910, at the John Ward residence in the Cockrell's Run community.
Mr. Kinnison was a member of Scioto Baptist Church and a retired Norfolk & Western Railway carman. He retired in 1951.
Surviving are his wife; son, Clarence, of Canton, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. John Pettit, Mrs. Howard Bruce and Mrs. Dorothy Griffith, all of Lucasville Rt. 3 and Mrs. Robert Cutlip of Wakefield; six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother, sister and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Scioto Baptist Church with Rev. William Brickey officiating. Burial will be in Scioto Cemetery, McKinley Funeral Home in charge. The body is at the residence.
