Ella grew up on a farm near Leola, S. D. She attended Koto #3 Country School through the eighth grade.
Ella married Clarence Tschappat on September 29, 1945. They lived in Aberdeen, S. D. and moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1967.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents, Gottlieb and Carolina; and thirteen siblings.
Age 93, of Coon Rapids, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
