The funeral for Minnie Pearl Walls Clark, 87, of Lexington, formerly of Danville, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Quentin Scholtz. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. She died Monday at Christian Health Care Center in Lexington. Born April 8, 1906, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Flora Epperson Walls. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and a retired 20-year employee of Palm Beach. She was the widow of Robert Clark. Survivors include two sons, Robert "Bobby" Clark Jr. of Lexington and James Thomas Clark of Castleberry, Fla.; a daughter, Helen Louise Clark-wood of Winter Springs, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Allan and Ralph Clark, John Wood, Don Long, Sandy Boggs and Jerry Cook. Visitation is from 3-5 p.m. Thursday.
