Annie Baugh dies at 100 Annie Susan Walls Baugh, 100, of 127 Center St. died at Friendship House on Sunday. She celebrated her 100th birthday on March 3 at Friendship House with family and friends. Until her mid-90s, she remained active in church and community activities. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and had been active in local homemaker clubs, the Retired and Veteran Railway Club and the Pythian Sisters Lodge. She was the widow of Walter Baugh. Born in the Highland section of Lincoln County on March 3, 1886, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Flora Epperson Walls. She attended Highland Elementary School. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Robert (Minnie) Clark of Danville, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation is after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Centenary United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
