"Lia" Maivia, was born Ofelia Fuataga from the island of American Samoa. She married High Chief Peter Fanene Leifi Maivia and had a daughter. She is the proud grandmother of actor and wrestler, Dwayne Johnson aka "The Rock".
Her husband, Peter Maivia, professional Samoan wrestler, would be the pinnacle movement for Lia Maivia's career. A visionary and pioneer in the wrestling circuit, she would establish herself being the first female professional wrestling promoter.
She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024
