It is with great sadness that the family of Vivian Mooney Butler announces her passing on April 7, 2019, at the age of 90. Vivian was born in Covington County Alabama in 1929 and married her high school sweetheart Henry in 1946. She will be lovingly remembered by her 4 daughters, Brenda (Bill) Redmond, Beverly (Jerry) Fricks, Kaye (Steve) Houlihan, Krista (Rick) Helms and her 2 sons, David (Cindy) Butler and Ed Butler. Vivian will also be fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Henry. Vivian was universally loved by her family and friends alike, especially for her great sense of humor and her ability to make us all laugh. There will be a service in her memory on Friday, April 12, 10:30 AM at The Transfiguration Catholic Church located at 1815 Blackwell Rd. 30066 in Marietta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial service at the Church. Internment will be private and family only at the National Cemetery in Canton Georgia.
