Mrs. Christina Steen, who was 95, was probably the oldest person in Jay County at the time of her death. She was born in Paulding County, Ohio, October 13, 1852, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Armantrout Landers. She was united in marriage to Robert Steen, who passed away in 1932.
She is survived by three sons, Frank B. Steen, Hollis P. Steen, and Harry Lee Steen, two daughters, Mrs. John Weaver and Mrs. Merl Gillium, two brothers, James Landers and Isaac Landers, twenty-three grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
