Henry Layfield and Harriet Furr Layfield were parents of Sanford Layfield, named after Henry's Uncle Sanford Layfield who worked for the B&O Railroad, brother to William Layfield his paternal Grand Father, who was buried in Cairo IOOF Cemetery, Cairo, Ritchie County, WV. Sanford Layfield was born 1859 - died 1938, married India Bee. Sanford buried in Layfields Cemetery. Harper Layfield born 1869 - died 1951, married Ada Bell McCormick, both in Layfields Cemetery. Henry Layfield born 1871 - died 1961, married Nora Jane Matheny, both in Hepzibah Cemetery, Harrison Co., West Virginia.
