Daniel Ball moved from Frederick Co., MD to Bedford Co., PA about 1793 and to Erie Co., PA about 1803. He fought in the American Revolution in the Virginia line and was awarded bounty lands which he never took up himself. He was a farmer most of his life. He married twice. His first wife Katherine Boyer (Byre) is buried with him and his second wife Mable's grave has not yet been found. Daniel and Katherine had 14 children.
