• RECK -- Memorial graveside services for Wilson native Jack Hugh Colson, 73, will be at 9 .a.m. Saturday at Reck Cemetery, southwest of Wilson, with the Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating.

Colson was born Aug. 27, 1928, in Wilson, to Gladys A. Dumas Colson Bruton Buck and J.C. Colson. He died June 19, 2002, in Lexington.

He attended school at Zaneis and had been a resident of Purcell the past 31 years. He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Colson, on Jan. 17, 1966; and mother, Gladys Dumas Buck, on July 13, 1998.

Survivors include uncles, Cecil Colson of Ringling, and Dr. Ted Colson of Denton, Texas; three aunts, Mrs. R.C. Conrad of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Theo Thomsen, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Sally Jo Wallace of Oklahoma City; four cousins, Marjorie Ann Riggs of Gardnerville, Nev., Marcia Lee Benson of Reno, Nev., Elbert Dean Dumas of Lakewood, Colo., and Larry Norman Dumas of Pasadena, Calif.; five stepsisters, Verna O'Neal of Nocona, Texas, Linda Williams of Wilson, Bettie Brinkerhoff of Fort Worth, Texas, Mary Adams of Nocona, Texas, and Anna Hickman of Nocona, Texas; four stepbrothers, Harold Buck of Grand Prairie, Texas, Glen Buck of Wilson, Don Buck of Ardmore, and Dale Buck of Lone Grove.
