Mendon, Ill., Sept. 29 -- Mrs. William Rowbotham, 72, died at her home south of Mendon, Saturday morning, at 3:50 o'clock.
Lina Evans, daughter of the late George and Mary Evans, was born on the Evans homestead in Elm Grove district, October 12, 1862.
She was one of seven children. She was married November 28, 1888, to William Rowbotham. She was a member of the Congregational church at Mendon.
Mrs. Rowbotham was the mother of four children. A son, Frederick, died April 13, 1913.
She leaves: her husband; three daughters: Flora, Effie, and Ida Rowbotham, at home; and a brother, George E. Evans, of Mendon.
Two brothers, and three sisters, are dead. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in the home, near Mendon.
Burial will be in Mendon cemetery. The service will be in charge of the Reverend O. E. Spencer, pastor of the Congregational church.
